Zurabishvil and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili delivered speeches on New Year’s Eve,

Justice Minister Rati Bregadze celebrated New Year with Penitentiary Service employees, the

opposition and their supporters ended the mass hunger strike after Misha’s request, the

government allowed nightclubs to hold events on Friday, the 31st of December, and on Saturday,

the 1st of January, New Year fireworks have injured about thirty people, the State Inspector’s

Service was dissolved, Ilia Ghudushauri was appointed as the new Deputy Minister of Health,

the National Center for Disease Control announced that community transmission of the

Omicron variant has started around the country, and much more!
